Mateer, Megan.jpg

Chair

Megan has been involved with theatre for most of her life.  Believing that education is very important, she achieved her PhD in theatre.  She has run two university theatre departments; stage managed at the Cleveland Playhouse; worked with Dayton and Columbus community theatres; and currently runs a theatrical props rental company, Tabatay Theatrical Props.

Phillips, Jason.png

Vice Chair

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1997, Jason has had extensive experience both in public service and working with non-profit organizations around the state.

Jason currently runs the courtroom for a judge in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.  Prior to that, Jason was the Policy Director for a statewide non-profit organization, serving as the Chief Lobbyist on state and federal issues. The decade prior to that, Jason worked in the State Legislature advising on a wide variety of policy issues including the state budget.

When he isn't working at the Courthouse, Jason is usually with his wife Erin, his daughter, Ellie and their dog June.

Honkonen, Randi.png

Treasurer

Randi is a marketing and communications professional, currently working in higher education. She has been dancing since she was six, but only discovered the magic of community theater as an adult. She has served as a dance captain in numerous productions and routinely performs with Columbus Entertainment Productions 4 Charity. When the dance shoes come off, it's likely you'll find her sipping wine and spending time with her boyfriend and rescue pup.

Heer, Veronica.png

Secretary

Veronica Heer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from The Ohio State University while working full time as an administrative assistant for the finance team of managers and directors at a nationally recognized health insurance company here in Columbus. After graduation, she used her college experience in stage management to find work in her field. For the past 19 years she has worked in the local theater community as an actor, a director, and a stage manager for several local theater companies. As secretary for Aethereal Jest Arts Council she looks forward to keeping the minutes and assisting the board, as needed.

She currently serves on Aethereal Jest Arts Council's Season Planning, Script Review, and Education Committees. In her free time, when not hanging out with her husband and numerous animals, she works as a freelance photographer, copyeditor, and background film actor.
